I am dedicated to excellence in performance, teaching, and creative activity. My work bridges jazz, contemporary improvisation, classical percussion, composition, and interdisciplinary collaboration, with a commitment to preparing students to become thoughtful musicians, creative artists, and engaged members of their communities.

For more than two decades, I have taught students at every level—from beginning musicians to collegiate performers—while maintaining an active career as a performer, clinician, and collaborator. My creative work includes original compositions, the commissioning of new repertoire, and partnerships with composers and performers that expand the possibilities of percussion and improvised music.
